Those " some Brazilian variants" are
      - ZenFone 5 Selfie (SD 430) and
      - ZenFone 5 Selfie Pro (SD 630, 128GB of storage)
do not listed here in Specifications section!

      ... as well as the 2 x
      Ultra Wide-view (120° FOV)
      Front & Rear Secondary Cameras!

Also has a very capable 20MP Sony IMX376 Selfie cam, incl. Video with EIS.

If you are lucky enough can find a ZC600KL unit w/ Quad-Cam for less than $200!

IAmEemaan, 06 Jul 2019Well that's a rare thing for midrange device in Africa... mine worked better after the update and the new features made the phone better overall, I have X017DA, I am yet to see if the battery is going to last longer or shorter, try resetting your phone to factory settings if the issue is still unresovled

In my country this phone has a significant price drop, now this phone is cheaper than Nokia 4.2 (i compare it with Nokia because it also has NFC).
Now with Android Pie i think this phone still good enough for the next 2 years because it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage with MicroSD slot, it also has pretty good chipset Snaldragon 630.
The only downside would be MicroUSB port.

Buggiest update ever. My phone now freezes a lot and it fucked up audio quality. Now my headphones sound like tin cans.

Asus picked up their game in the smartphone segment after the ROG phone and especially after the new flagship killing Zenfone 6 or 6z. The Zenfone 6 also received the highest score on DxOMark for selfie due to its flip camera. They achieved a staggering 98. Good job to to Asus for becoming a strong competitor in the smartphone game.
