Anonymous, 27 Jun 20198+2 is cheaper than native t10. But is still a kind of ten. People are jealous. Nope, its a 8 bit display, NOT a 10 bit display. Maybe a great 8 bit, but NOT 10 bit. Nobody is jealous, as gsmarena rated the Samsung S10 screen as better with HDR+ ratings.

The Xpwria 1 needs a firmware to improve:
1. Video dynamic range. It needs atleast another stop of improvement, Atleast.
2. Photo dynamic range in HDR by atleast 1.5 stops. Right now its clipping highlights big time. Plus the overall dynamic range is also pretty disappointing.
3. The Interface is poorly designed. Lots of options are either missing, or they are very difficult to find. The interface needs a major tweaking.

On an 8+2 FRC display, the image will appear to show more noise than what an actual native 10-bit display will.
In summary: Sony Xperia 1 has a 8 bit display.
