Anonymous, 17 Jun 2019Yes, 1 year is long. But then again I had so many nexus and pixel phones updated right away - ... moreMan owned many cell phones from many brands in past mostly Nokia in present it was Huawei, then Lenovo and Now motorola everytime i updated to new android havent any problems with my phone.
Now have my Moto X4 which started with Nougat then got oreo and now have Pie.
I have no problems with my phone and battery.
Too little. Too late.
OMG 4 GB? How much bloat it comes with? Most software packages are like 2 GB maximum
Nikola Tesla, 17 Jun 2019If we update to Pie, then we will lost the record calls posibility. I am a fan of Tesla the scientist, and the cars.
Regarding the Pie update for all LG V40's , traditionally, adding new android os's can cause battery life to worsen, and not just with LG model's. For example, adding android 7.0 to a Samsung S7 makes it's battery a lot worse.
If we update to Pie, then we will lost the record calls posibility.

Still waiting for the V30 android update...

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2019Yes, 1 year is long. But then again I had so many nexus and pixel phones updated right away - ... moreMan i understand your point but thats why new android is released in many beta versions to fix all bugs and other errors so when a final non beta version is released it should be automaticaly added for all devices which are aplicable.
AnonD-731363, 17 Jun 2019After a year omg really??? These companes should add new OS immediately is available and not ... moreYes, 1 year is long. But then again I had so many nexus and pixel phones updated right away - you should at least wait 6 months. Many of my phones had serious problems after updating them to a new android version (not talking about security patches!). Worst was the battery problem on my 6p. After one update I had my battery that lasted just under a day cut by 2/3 and I had to recharge it at noon very single day! And that's on vannila. I believe on a phone not running vanilla you may even have worse problems running another UI over vanilla. But ye, developers should bring an update in around 6 months. But then again, better save than sorry: some phones of other people ran into bootloops after updates...
Is G7ThinQ get Pie Update?
After a year omg really???
These companes should add new OS immediately is available and not year after when Q is almost ready.
