Wow 5G launched in UK. A d other parts of the world and now there researching 6G. Me personally I think more effort on existing network Insfrastructure. Let's be realistic parts of Wales. Are still only on 3G network and that's pant for 2019.

Though you could also contact the carriers as a "prospective customer" and inquire about their networks and their tech. Ask if they employ Carrier Aggregation. To get 300Mbps (LTE-A, Cat.6), you need 2-CA.

By the list of carriers you have given me, only one country matches: Panama. The info I could find says that only one carrier has LTE-A: Digicel. This means nothing because rollout of LTE-A is hardly even everywhere. Places with LTE-A may be too saturated for you to enjoy proper speeds. Also the number of bands employed is so small, everyone in your country shares the 700MHz and the 1900MHz band. It will be hard to get high speeds with only two bands shared with 4 carriers.

In the end, I'm not surprised your speeds are awful. The NETWORKS are awful. Two bands, seriously! Here, carriers have 2, 3, 4 or 6 dedicated bands, which allows for LTE-A 5-CA Cat.16 (Gigabit-22Mbps)

Here's why you have crap speeds. Building networks isn't free. So it's either not worth upgrading (no competition for the best networks in your country), or the population density in your area divides the network capacity significantly.

Nokia is not on the frontline anymore. So they come with this pretty story about the future to make to the headlines.

[deleted post]And when 4g was out you could have said the same thing about 3g.

Maybe we shouldn't improve tech or use it .

If we listened to people like you we still be on 2G :D

While our local telecoms are proudly presenting their 4G right now Koreans are now into developing 6G. God damnit.
