But for me i dont much care cause xcover can have all the fancy worded protection on them but still too big body for so small screen. Rugged yes and for rugged it's somewhat small. But on the other hand you can pretty much get rugged case for A40 and then body dimensions with the case be same like xcover.
If it were using the Exynos 9610 it could be a decent deal.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2019Well LG Q7a has it and is even cheaper. You can clearly see they cut cost on body material and chipset. Xcover rugged rubbery body is better. No physical nav button for all the dirty hand operation on Q7a. MT6750S is bad. Its a 28nm chipset, as bad as old SD400 series. Bad for battery life. Exynos 7885 (14nm) at least on par with SD636.
oh, this is interesting! oh what if they now launch an galaxy s10 active??????
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2019Well LG Q7a has it and is even cheaper.Precise, but a typical Samsung move... Like Apple.
I don't like it being too big. And no, it's not necessary for a rugged phone. Moto DEFY had almost the same width as iPhone 4 and even a slightly bigger display, why can't we have something like that now?

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2019Built in batteries help in waterproofing. Galaxy Xcover 4S: Hold my spare batteries.Wrong. Built in battery help make phone thinner because the battery is not encase in a mould like removable battery. In non removable battery you would see their cable connector. Removable battery don't need the cable connector because it is built like a port in a casing shape thus making it thick.

Dometalican, 05 Jun 2019Removable battery WITH IP68 and MIL-STD-G rating huh? So it is possible...yes, with tupperware technology
Samsung is really ticking me off with their mirrored navigation buttons. I'd be cool with it if they printed non-specific icons on them and allowed to un-mirror them (put Back back to the left side) but no, they had to do it wrong again.

FINALLY finally finally finally something "classic" and decent at the same time... J7 Duo didn't stick for long so I think this'd be a decent Exynos 7885 successor...
