Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019rip arm, no huawei and now no samsung. These comments make me laugh.

It will be interesting to see how AMD does on a fresh take on low power GPUs.
Zero , 04 Jun 2019Sadly due CDMA patents Samsung is still forced to use Qualcomm in USA, but in China and India ... moreARM can continue to exist comfortably with just their CPU licensing costs, but I don't expect MediaTek to develop an in-house GPU program anytime soon either.
Ray, 04 Jun 2019Bye bye Mali G-XX, WELCOME AMD + Exynos. Will Samsung abandon Qualcomm? Exynos + AMD in USA ... moreSamsung uses Qualcomm for the US market for legacy CDMA support. It's only a matter of time before that becomes completely irrelevant.

People calls it gimmicky & condemn it when they doesnt even experience it in real life.
The question is if Mali GPU are weak then how mate 20 Pro runs PUBG better than mi9 that comes with snapdragon 855 I have both phones?!.
booldega, 04 Jun 2019Great ! The next Exynos GPU could be as least as powerful as Snapdragon GPU because for now Sn... moreThe Mali GPU has caught up a bit but still lacking behind the Adreno gpu has 900 flops of power which is quite a lot now compared to the Mali at 700 flop of power the ps4 gpu is only 1900 so it could get close in a few years but they need to sort of the heating and throttling first
Interesting that technically adreno is AMD's property that's is basically gonna compete with itself now
Reduce dependance by developing their own gpu is a good thing. More competition also a good Thing for common ppl. ARM currently too strong, and not neutral. Hopefully, Samsung will develop new architecture for CPU next, free from backdoors if possible.

I really wonder what they'll do for the Switch Pro then. Custom Tegra X3? Or disappointingly just a less downclocked X1?
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Finally a possible gpu that is better than AndrenoYeah for Android.
with Nvidia GPUs expected to be built with Samsung's 7nm process in 2020, why not partner with them ? especially with Nvidia's mobile SoC experience before, like the Tegra K1 and X1.
Hiii I m hyrda joker ...if it's launched then I surely buy it...imagine 120hz screen wid and GPU Exynos processor and liquid cooled...it's toooo op
abigfanoftechs, 04 Jun 2019About time! Samsung's GPU has always been weak. Come on Nvidia, your turn. :-)They kinda did but they don't do mobile SoCs anymore. I now wish they updated it for the largely rumored Nintendo Switch Pro with at least a Pascal graphics. It would be sweet if it's Turing.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Eeeh AMD...I'd stay away unless you don't mind volcanics temperatures on your phone.Yeah, that rumor is for AMD processor. We are talking about Radeon GPU here. Fyi, AMD processor is not overheating as it was many ancient years ago. As for the Radeon GPU, it is AMD custom graphics IP based on the recently announced RDNA architecture. It is newly designed architecture. NEW. Stop being stuck in the past.
