AnonD-732843, 06 Jun 2019What's meaningful then, bandwith? As in the case of CPUs, direct spec by spec comparison is only relevant when we are talking about the exact same architecture. For eg. Apple A12 running at 2.0 GHz is far more powerful than Cortex A55 running at 2.0 GHz.
Bandwidth while crucial for the GPUs only makes a significant difference when it is the bottleneck. For eg. When phones are already shipping with 12 GB RAM, adding even more won't make a difference.

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Because it is Tencent game.this is such a nonsense comment. Mali belongs to ARM holdings, its upto any manufacturer to optimise their gpus with games. Plenty of chinese phones use adreno and they may perform differently.

DantE O2, 04 Jun 201925% more performance per clock and same time 50% less power is fantastic for a start dudeIt's not "50% less power at the same time". It's 50% more performance per watt and that includes the 25% increase in IPC. Which means it's 25% higher performance per clock and 16.67% lower power consumption at the same time. These are still good figures nonetheless.
