Peachy001, 03 Jun 2019An s10 Active, in UK would be very welcome. An S10 Active worldwide would be very welcome. Make it a true all-band, dual-
SIM world phone. Nevertheless, this latest news is very encouraging. I'm also anticipating something new from LG (X Venture 2?). Also, Bullitt Group might soon be coming out with a successor to their CAT S41.
I would rather have a 4.7" screen than a 5.2" screen, with the 16:9 aspect ratio screen. With the extra bulk of a rugged phone, the 4.7" screen would make it a lot more comfortable to hold and put in your pocket. Plus a user replaceable battery like the S5 active had.
doar anyboy bother to look at the video?
this device won't be available for public consumer, only for agencies (police, military, firesquad etc)
S9 with 4GB ram good joke
Im trying to collect all the Galaxy S active series, so far im on the S6 active, don't tell me they will launch another one! Because i never seen the S9 active come out in the first place.

Lazy SOB's just abandoned the S8 Active.
Then again after the fiasco of dealing with that warranty "repair" I'm done with them. They ripped the phone open to replace the battery, and couldn't be bothered to say boo about it being water resistant AFTER. We'll never mind that they just slapped the back cover on so poorly that I sent it back to them again with post it notes jammed in the gaps.
Agreed.
I've always been interested in the S6 Active, S7 Active, and S8 Active.
They are like the Base Models, but with larger battery, extra button, better waterproofing and durability (and you can say they're more compact, since you don't need to worry about using a case).
It's a shame that these are limited to only one county (USA), to only one carrier (AT&T), for only a limited time (Sep-Dec).
It's also a shame that these were locked models (difficult to use on other carriers), and AT&T used to put a decent amount of bloat, and they used to restrict software updates to it. Not to mention, these had the hardware KNOX bootloader lock, so you couldn't rush to Custom Rom's and you certainly couldn't keep your warranty.
It reminds of Samsung's other great GalaxyS variants that had stupid exclusivity deals on them like the Sprint's Samsung Epic 4G, the AT&T Samsung Captivate, and the Sprint Galaxy SII Epic.
Nice new active phone
The active phones were pretty cool (other than the size). Unfortunately they were only sold in the US.
