Biggest loser is US, the firms based in US know it better. Foolish trump hurting his own nations economy. His petty politics is affecting everyone, not only china but also US. In future many companies may move out of US if it keeps on troubling them. Visionless leader indeed. God save US.

You don't know the struggle of those people, You just thought china is rich(well it is , as a country ) but it gives you limited freedom, what trump did is actually breaking the ice. because as a businessman , he knows what china is doing, and they are expanding their influence and when they do, they will going to put their law into you just like what they did on our country. They will going to help you building things but the rules and law on the contract should follow the law of China and not from your country , and when the construction or product failed, they didn't even compensate us but instead we are already in debt, just what happen in Africa when they help built a bridge but after its finished it broke down and hey what happen? still they are paying for the cost and labor and now in debt without their bridge. Say what will happen if china has all the influence, guess you cant imagine it .

If yes, Does Google need to compensate Huawe... moreBasically that's the reason why they issued a 90-days reprieve for Huawei. And the ban will only immediately affect future models and for the Q Android and not the existing ones (phones and OS).
A lawsuit can be on the way as well.

neZya, 21 May 2019Nope, you can't use other apps bc there isn't app store for it.All they need to do is make a play store copy and make it tax free and developers will start publishing in there as well because google and apple charges them 30% of every transaction they make. I know because I am a developer myself.

I guess it is a multi-faceted case... Seems like Huawei will be developing brand new RISC-V processor (they are already hiring CPU Core designers) which can even scale to future desktop/laptop processors, threathening not only ARM/Qualcomm but also Intel/AMD and Microsoft. So, we'll see...

This can be done with second OS if they have joined forces. If China together with Russia and even some contries that are not tied to USA could develop another platform it would be a fresh start a revolution which is not connected on political level. Both China and Russia have extreme intellectual power which would eventually overtake Android if this BS keeps continue. This is golden opportunity for MTK to go into higher gear. Even tsmc. Donald is just stupid for even considering going against China on any level. Restricting China with anything this is a joke of century. You already poked a bear with the stick and you cant do anything. Yeah keep trying poking a Dragon. Your end is coming soon. Im waiting the day when Bear and Dragon are as one against this tyrant

Now banning a Chinese company that supplies to the rest of the world is the same as saying YouTube now should be "only" be accessed in the US... does it affect the rest of the world? Yes. One thing is blocking content to your own country, the other is blocking your companies from doing business with a certain company knowing full well that everyone in the world will be affected AND telling your "allies" to do the same. This will get much much uglier for both side.
