Just the basic. Its a waste dont you think???
But i am not the one to judge others.
Even i dont use my Moto X4 to its full potential but at llast use it for more than the most basic things.

What's so 'weird' about a slideout keyboard?
I've been missing this option even since my droid4 could no longer perform.

Like Predator X21 the most powerfull notebook ever made made by Asus cost around 10k euros price of a brand new car. But also is fully customizable as i remember correctly.
Its a weak comparism but motomods are like project ara altough you cant swap many things amd always you can have only one extra add on a time.
But if this were possible its should be a fine idea worth try.
As i said gazillions of people use their phone for most basic things and dont even know dont have even the slightest idea whats their phone is capable off.

You should be able to customize it, but there's a limit to what you could do. Plus, all businesses work for profit. And what the main market wants it's something new and something shiny

in the year 1999 i had a phone Ericsson t10
he is predecessor of good accesories or modular accesories
                      two things i loved are:
fm radio handsfree which was found maybe on some philips phones which is needed today for some phone which costs 1K+ eur.

and qwerty keyboard called "chatboard"-no additional explanation needed

Walter C. Dornez, 12 May 2019Unfortunately, Moto Mods are not only expensive, they haven't gotten any true refreshes in suc... moreWell yes i can understand that.
But i am right if i say these manufacturers works only for profit.
They litterary dont care what people wants.
They make a new technology add it to the phhone and add costs to it but they never asks people if they want it or no.
                        What i want to say???
In present era is t ypical that top end phones have quadrillion features from which 95% of people use only the very basic and for the rest they have not even slightest ideaa whats their phone is capable of.
Despite the most people use only the most basic features of the phone, like dialing someone writing a message, watching a video, go on internet take picture or play some games, manufacturers of the phone will add all even those features which will people njever use to the final price of the phone and those people will pay lot more money for they device than it should cost.

Phone should be like Pizza. Margherita where cheese and ketchup represents the most basic features which everyone use and then everybody should have add ons which he wants to and those which he dont wants simply wont be in the phone and thus will be not counted to a final bill price.
As as a pizza you have a basic margherita with cheese adnd tomato basic and then if people needs durrable phone the manufacturer adds extra crispy layer to the pizza, adds better cameras which can represent broccoli for example, adds bigger battery if someone wants thus some chicken meat or thicker salami or ham will be added to the pizza.
Faster CPU, GPU and Ram which is the most expensive thing in a phone thus a sea coctail will be added to the pizza.
Someone would like to have inscreen fingerprint scanner or much faster charger or capability to open phone just looking at this and this feature should be represented by chilli to add some spicy things to the pizza.
Etc. I hope you understand my point.
Thus the Pocophone is the winner because for a phoe with just lot ofMargerita and tomato basic offers quiote lot of for no extra costs.

You could purchase a laser pointer for your Sony Ericsson phones back in the day. Plug it in your phone and you were good to go to give that great presentation of yours. Or just play with the cat using the laser.
