Anonymous, 25 Mar 2019IMO, Sharp and Motorola (Lenovo) are missing the point. Unfolded, the phones are still too big... morenope, this mean for longer screen like xperia 1 can be put in pocket. this is actually great idea than foldable phablet
Luxor, 25 Mar 2019This is too normal for Sharp. Wait until they add some eccentricity like the double notch. Lol. That was just one phone bruh relax lol
IMO a phone only needs ONE camera. I really like the design.
what is the interest of an phone that unfold is the standard normal size ????
That looks kinda cute imo lol

Anonymous, 25 Mar 2019IMO, Sharp and Motorola (Lenovo) are missing the point. Unfolded, the phones are still too big... moreWhile I agree, remember that foldable phones, IF they succeed and become the norm and all that, are still in their very early stages, similar to how smartphones were back in the late 2000s.
Plus, I like seeing Japanese makers get back in the smartphone market. Now, if only Fujitsu tried the same way Sharp does.
IMO, Sharp and Motorola (Lenovo) are missing the point. Unfolded, the phones are still too big to use, but too small to be a tablet. Folded, they're too small to be useful. So really, they're solving zero problems with their design choices. At least with Samsung's Fold, it's small enough folded to use one-handed with a decent-sized screen (although it should either be bigger or the bezels should be smaller), and when it's unfolded, manages a tablet-size screen. The Mate X is a miss too because you basically have a tablet that unfolds into another tablet, there's no pocketability nor ease of one-handed use in any configuration.
[deleted post]It seems that every foldable phone looks better than samsung's foldable
Nice try sharp this is a Optonica
That phone actually looks good! I wonder what the price is gonna be... Usually Sharp devices are affordable.
Wow. Looks better than galaxy.
Anonymous, 25 Mar 2019the first one was the iPhone 6 lolI'm not an isheep but this joke is not funny anymore iphone 6 is not the only phone that can bend easily there is also ipad pro
Whackcar, 25 Mar 2019Sharp is not a popular phone brand, but anyone who has used some of their phones will tell you... moreSharp was nice company. Definitely my favourite for mainstream audio tech back in eighties.
But since 2016 Sharp belongs to Foxconn, so we will see what future brings.
Sudenly every foldable smartphone looks better than samsung galaxy fold!!!
Samsung is really the king of smartphones
Sharp is not a popular phone brand, but anyone who has used some of their phones will tell you how satisfying their phones are. Their hardware quality is practically on the same level as Sony phones. I've had the pleasure of using some of their phones, and i was mostly pleased with the experience.
Oh, and they're also trend-setters. They were the first with a bezel-less phone (Aqous Crystal, all the way back in 2014). They were also one of the earliest ones to offer IP certification on most of their phones. A really respectable phone company overall (although they make a lot more than just phones).
SpiritWolf, 25 Mar 2019'So far only Samsung and Huawei have showcased working devices...' Really? And i thought th... morethe first one was the iPhone 6 lol
