Coz nowadays, we cant really have it all. If we want to enjoy better performing phones, then we have to get used to these what they call shovels. But those looking for smaller and usable performance may opt for the likes of nokia 3, 4, 5 series or these earlier redmis. But then, please dont complain about bigger notch or thicker bezels.

I just mention the size of phone, not the brand of phones, not the specs of phones, etc. Well, at least, this is my personal experience with the size.

My first smartphone is only 4", then first time i replaced it with 5.5", i was uncomfortable at first, then i used note FE, which is 5.7" then i add mi a2 lite 5.84" (which is "smaller" than note FE). For me, mi a2 lite is still a compact phone coz its really small and easily fits into my jeans pocket. Though, its better if manufacturers still produce 5.5". Or maybe they are producing big phones so that we will be forced to buy foldable phones in the future.

Why buy a new phone for under 200 euro and then buy it as a 1-2 years old model ?
Especially from a brand that pops out new models every after 6 months.

It just need time, same as this Redmi 7, it will be in global version 26 march, eve on aliexpress and similar sites

But if you really wanna compact phone and son't want to spend above 100$, try to search somewhere online old but gold, Redmis (Redmi 3s/Prime, Redmi4/x). Maybe someone sells new one for 70-80$.

F*ck dammit Xiaomi, same size as the note 7 version? It doesn't even make sense, the galaxy 'note' was introduced to offer larger display compared to regular version... Same paddle just with lower resolution, that just has 'disappointment' written all over it.
@Gared it's true, both all three devices are about a year old now. The issue is that battery wears even when it's sitting on a shelf. Plus, there's also a question of updates. A lot of us were just hyped to get a solid, compact budget phone with Note 7 since almost nobody really offer these recently. On the other hand the market is literally filled with the 6"+ paddles. I understand it's a majority's pick, but they have plenty to choose from already.
