wtf.still FHD + ?for a flagship with amoled panel Qhd is a must.the display on p20 pro is verry bad and pixelated.or just stick with lcd fhd like mate 9 .that display was exelent, super bright and sharp.even mate 20 is not on the same level like mate 9.lower brightness and lower contrast ratio.this is just not good

I got xz... moreCouldn't agree more, if I have a 3 year old Lg phone with qhd screen, why should I get a brand new P20/30 with inferior screen resolution?
I can definitly see the diference every time I see Xiaomi/Huawei or even Samsung Galaxy with 1080p setting.

40 MP (OIS, f/1.6) + 20 (wide-angle, f/2.2) + 8 MP (f/3.4) with 10x Hybrid Zoom + ToF
That's the Exact same inage sensor list that is on the Mate20 Pro. I am guessing the 8MP sensor is tiny. Plus it had an f-stop of f3.5. Which means that while it's great that it has a constant f-stop, it is also terrible for low light. Between f1.7 and f3.5, there is a different of 2 and 2/3rd of a stop. Which is HUGE in mobile photography terms (the differencebrteeren usable and non usable photos). Unless this is the Huawei designed Sony made 36MP IMX607 Sensor that has Triple Native ISO of 50/500/500 there is not way this camera will be usable in anything but superb light. On the other hand, if it is the IMX607 with Quad Pixel downressing 8MP photos (and Huawei not using the same old 8MP of the Mate20 Pro), those photos could have great detail and pretty usable low light even at f3.5.

no monochrome sensor :(
Was hoping it will be quad camera that include b&w sensor.
I'm using P9 and i do believe the monochrome sensor help to reduce the noise.

sadh, 15 Mar 2019P30 sounds perfect but too bad they remove ois.Mate 20 pro doesn't have OIS too and it is still the photography master. So don't be dissapointed as much ;) OIS is only needed when you record a video in 4K. In Full HD EIS is doing the good job too.

Pro version is to big, and vanila is crippled in camera department. I don't understand the logic behind it considering that this is the P series and non Lite variants.

Troll level 1 millionIt’s okay not all people know about the cycle of huawei kirin chips, huawei release a new chip every year, on the end of August, and usuelly the first phone that gets it is mate series phones then after 6 months p series gets it

They will not see my money again without unlocked bootloader. That is a huge dealbreaker.
It is ridiculous when a flagship records 4K@30 with less than 30Mbps bitrate.
Not even counting overexposion, noise and artifacts.
My 2015 phone does much better.
