This device is not launched on the same platform as Redmi 4A/ 5A / 6A. This device are for people who will use the phone for basic calls, Text and somewhat data access and it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) not miui. This phone is for different category of people between 50-70 years of age approx & also this device can be a secondary phone for alot of young people too.

xiaomi started showing their commercial attitude 1 gb ram seriously a failure at cost of 5k

People here complaining about others complaining should understand that, the Redmi Go is just a downgrade of Xiaomi Redmi 4A and 5A models 2 and 1 year old models respectively for the same price as the older models with 1gig less RAM. Should this be acceptable or should people have the right to voice their displeasure?

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2019Exactly...because at 4000, nokia 1 is availableI think you seated in some kind of vegetable market and trying to bargain for a smartphone. My advice for you would be don't buy a smartphone. Dedicated micro-SD, Battery and better resolution display compare to Nokia 1 take that into account before putting your negatives thoughts across.
