Maybe that's why my _main_ complaints about Samsung flagships are their usability and convenience? :)

Walter C. Dornez, 09 Mar 2019And why is that? The phone's pretty good and has all you need, minus battery and quick updates- screen is curved which is unnecessary (you can make thin side bezels without it), uncomfortable to hold and distorts content;
- fingerprint reader is too close to camera (or vice versa) which is, again, uncomfortable;
- "iris scanner" is a gimmick but costs money;
- 4 Gb of RAM is too low for the price;
- high resolution screen (if considered necessary because of PenTile) needs more battery capacity;
- however, first two clauses are enough to consider it a bad smartphone :)

Can the update OS make Galaxy A8+/A8 2018 slow in performance? Is it better to stick with the original factory OS (i.e. Nougat or Oreo recently) ?
