Hardware-wise you are getting a high-end soc, paired with a mid-range screen and camera. 🙂
On the other hand they use the same 960 fps recording on the flagship Mi 8, but since the feature came as an extra update it's still a nice treat. Also one has to consider the price again.

Professional, 05 Mar 2019Are you joking? Don't you know that they're showing slow motion(960fps) videos on your links?!... moreSuper Slow Mo 960fps, using a method called frame interpolation technique which I already knew long before I watched that video he shared. Frame interpolation technique is a software method that involves the addition of frames to the current animation, making it look much more fluid, mimicking the real 960fps. The real 960fps, for your information, requires a stacked DRAM memory in its camera sensor. Currently, the only smartphones that are doing the real 960fps are coming from Sony and SAMSUNG (still). But regardless, I wouldn't blame much on them either, given the fact that the POCOPHONE F1 is a budget smartphone. That "L" should be given to those that are doing it at a much more expensive price (*wink* *wink* HUAWEI)
M33, 05 Mar 2019Now Poco has 4k 60 FPS, but mighty P20 Pro hasn'tHuawei has never been great with their video recording (at least as of yet), their forte is their photography experience, and in that field, they're out of the league of the Poco.
Also, just because Poco is offering 960 fps slow-mo or 60 fps 4k doesn't mean it's necessary any good. There's a difference between having an option & performing well on that option.
The 960 fps slow-mo is fake on the Poco & all other devices without a dedicated DRAM. Only Sony & Samsung provide real 960 fps Slow-Mo at the moment.
As for 4K 60 FPS, it's certainly possible on SD845, but providing hiqh-quality footage under this mode is not easy to achieve. So it really remains to be seen whether Poco's footage looks decent enough or not.
P.S. I'm neither a Poco fan nor a hater, I'm just a unbiased technologist who's sharing his opinion on the matter.

I'm okay with this scenario if they can put a good camera in poco f2. who wants sd855, sd845 is more than enough!
Anonymous, 05 Mar 2019It will be more expensive... F1 is just to get the brand out there, F2 will be priced inline w... moreI don't think so. It will likely be higher than Poco 1, but it should not be anywhere in the same price bracket as OnePlus... that is if Xiaomi knows how to run it's business.
The thing is nobody would pick Poco over OnePlus if the prices were similar. Poco is only for people on a really tight budget.
Professional, 05 Mar 2019Are you joking? Don't you know that they're showing slow motion(960fps) videos on your links?!... morewell.. from your comment i notice that you clearly never seen how real 960fps should work... what we see in the video is not 960fps, not sure even if its 480fps.... definitely not 720p.
as i said... if you do not care about details, it will be cool stuff to use.... coz there is blur and no clear details when you view the video...
Whackcar, 05 Mar 2019Like it or hate it, you can't deny this phone has phenomenal value for money. Makes you won... moreIt will be more expensive... F1 is just to get the brand out there, F2 will be priced inline with OnePlus, which would make me just buy a OnePlus phone at that point.
Man this phone for 260 euros gets better and better.
I really cant immagive poco 2.
And Poco 3 will be like what???
Mate X or Samsung galaxy fold for a price of 300 with all their specs, add-ons and features:-)
Crytek, 05 Mar 2019I'm Sorry not to trust those updates, coz of this :
remember the update that contained 960fps... moreAre you joking? Don't you know that they're showing slow motion(960fps) videos on your links?!Or qhat do you want to prove?!
I'm using this phone from September of last year and this is the best mobile for the price in my opinion. You are literally getting 2nd best SOC from Qualcomm for less than the 1/3 the price of a Note 9.
I'm Sorry not to trust those updates, coz of this :
remember the update that contained 960fps? take a look

if 960fps slow motion was like that, imagine 4K 60fps....
unless you forget about the details... you can enjoy it ofc.
