The black phone looks so sick. I don't care why people care about face unlock, specially since taking that feature out might make this phone cheaper than previous versions

For me, the P20's front face was a deal breaker (that ugly notch and that fake button was really wtf), but this seems pretty awesome from front and back alike! If I'll ever buy a Chinese phone, it will be the P30

Walter C. Dornez, 28 Feb 2019Tru, though I find it weird there is no 3D face scanningFor that it needs a IR face scanner, which cannot fit inside a waterdrop notch (along with selfie camera). Even Samsung has gotten rid of their Iris scanner on the S10 series for the same reason.
So P30 is Mate 20 Pro without dual curve screen and FaceID while P30 Pro is Mate 20Pro with ToF camera and no FaceID
john, 28 Feb 2019From which angle ? curved edges?yes it is!
samsung p30 lol wtf!!

storemandan, 28 Feb 2019Yes does look a nice phone but doesn't have the hybrid zoom which i also love. Nokia 9 do look promising in terms of photography. And the price seems to be pretty decent too. Such a shame though since they doesn't include the wide or telephoto cam. And the pro mode in Nokia seems to be limited compare to Huawei Pro mode.

Instead the pro one can be just a bigger size for those who want bigger display. I for one prefer the compact size instead of longer and bigger display. Seems all brand are going with this direction now :(
As a P20 Pro user I would say I am dissapointed. I had Galaxy S7 edge before my Huawei and the curved screen is a huuuge drawback. I hoped that Huawei will stick to flat screens on the P series, but it seems it will not be the case. If Mate 30 Pro is curved as well, I would be forced to switch to an iPhone and pay twice as much for the same specs, just to avoid that stupid curved screen...
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2019Where's the fourth camera on the P30 Pro?below the flash i think it is tof camera like the one in the view 20
beautiful phone
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2019Where's the fourth camera on the P30 Pro?To the side below the flash
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2019Where's the fourth camera on the P30 Pro?its the little point bellow flash, well, is a ToF camera, useless...
It ends up that P30 will be a mid-ranger with significantly cut functionality, while P30 Pro will be GIGANTIC.
So i might end up with S10e instead. Huawei starts stepping on HTC/Nokia/LG/Meizu rakes. That's a bad sign. Xiaomi also follows. They also doing only mobile tablets over 15,5 cm tall since last year.
