You can't make a device like this and skimp on the basics. It will lead people to not buy it. Less sales means more failure and loss of profit.

Sure you might make a few pennies or bucks less per device but making sure the package is enticing and doesn't compromise where it counts is what gets the sales. Otherwise you make much less in the end.
How is almost every company so blind to such basic simple logic???????

GSMa, you need to do an endurance test of this. If 18k is true, then well done. They have fit it within 10mm of thickness. I am sure others can manage 10k at least within the average modern smartphone footprint. Battery life is the most important and satisfying aspect of a mobile device, and the aspect OEMs are least interested in.
