I rather recommend the OnePlus 6 than the 6t. It is a decent phone but the value isn't there anymore, its gone since 2016 (OnePlus 3t/6GB/128GB). And yes, its not good for audiophiles or people in general when it comes to sound.
I think someone with a ZTE Axon7 should upgrade to the ASUS RoG Phone, for a non-compromise upgrade. Or they can take a little compromise and upgrade to the Samsung Note9, or the Pixel 3XL. Or if they want to compromise even more, its much more logical to get the Xiaomi Pocophone (just slap a good Custom Rom, and port the Pixel Camera App).
Only a fanboy recommends brands blindly, I don't recommend OnePlus 6t because I'm not a fanboy.... what matters to me is the product and its experience, not the logo on the back.

For the moment, I just changed the battery, I decided to keep Axon 7 a little more. Pixels are not an option, 2 SIM cards it's a must for me. Also, all T-mobile + Sprint LTE bands in US & all LTE bands in Europe it's a mus too.
Let me guess, big notch, no stereo speakers and only 1080p screen? Another fail from ZTE. What happened with Axon 7?
Pabliell, 12 Feb 2019Without a headphone jack the Axon name is dead.and without dual speakers...idc if they have to put it at the side....just put it

The Pixel2 and Pixel3 have two speakers, but one is used for treble and the other for bass (ie different sound profiles, not channels). I believe only the old HTC M8, Axon7, Razer Phone, Razer Phone 2, ASUS RoG Phone, and the Pixel 3XL have dedicated twin speakers.
Going to the OnePlus 6t would be a downgrade for you. A Razer Phone would be a side-grade. The only true upgrade would be the ASUS RoG Phone.
So you either accept that phones now have bad audio, no headphone jack, unusually tall, slippery, fragile, unserviceable, and cost more upfront....and stick with these compromises just to update your processor. Or you have to pay through the roof to get a no-compromise product.
I personally would stick with the Axon7 for a little longer, it's not like it's bad or anything, and when I do upgrade it would be to something proper like an ASUS RoG Phone2, not something disappointing like the OnePlus 6t.
1080p display!? Nooooo! I wanted 2K...otherwise, the rest of the specs sound promising so far...
Nice soc and battery, let's wait for the other parameters when it gets on the market
Nubia x sequel phone with gapps please
KMB877, 12 Feb 2019Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade my Axon 7!Your sim will self destruct if you put it in any other OEM. You have to wait for the next Axon phone to arrive so you can "hopefully upgrade"...

The worst case scenario, Oneplus 6T (but the camera suck) could be an option.
Also, FYI - Axon 9 has 2 speakers.

LG is the one that got flak for it while everyone else like Sony and Samsung for example had cooling tech inside. Some SD808/810 phones besides LG bootlooped too.
It all ended when LG G5 is released with SD820 which doesn't have bootloop anymore. In other words, 2014 - 2015.
I liked the phone too much
Axon hater, 12 Feb 2019Axon hahahhaa... 'd rather buy 10year old LGSo you like phones with bootloop, those phones with bootloop that for so many years manufactured LG, like ten years ago and until recently when G4, G5, V10... end the bootloop saga, for now...
Another bombshell is comming guys.
KMB877, 12 Feb 2019Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade my Axon 7!Yes, you could finally upgrade to the ASUS RoG Phone. Only one out there with a flagship processor, dedicated DAC, headphone jack, and front-firing stereo loudspeakers.
Axon9 /Pro and Axon10 Pro lack the dedicated DAC, headphone jack, and have a tinny monospeaker.
I'm hoping for an updated ASUS RoG Phone2 to be released early (April 2019 ?) alongside the OnePlus 7 and competitors.
Axon hahahhaa... 'd rather buy 10year old LG
Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade my Axon 7!
