Apple know well how their blind fans are and why they are called their iSheeps. The only important for them is the TITLE, they do not care what you put with small letter or the disclaimer. They will proclaim and announce to the four winds that their iPhones make better videos than professional cameras and will spread it as an undoubted truth. I have already seen someone affirming it. I hope that none of them will go to a wedding and try to do the multimedia report with the iPhone unless want to be thrown out and fired immediately.

The gymnastics Apple had to do in order to produce this flick, which are many as you can see by the specialized rigs and high-grade equipment on top of the iPhone, simply pale in comparison to the gymnastics people are doing to deny the fact there is indeed an iPhone shooting all that footage (even if bellow all that gear).
In fact, it's Apple itself that does the disclosure of using additional hardware and software.
iPhone is just a brand, not a specific piece of hardware. They could've just branded whatever they wanted as an "iPhone" and make no disclosure whatsoever (as others already did in photography, with DSLR camera bodies posing as smartphones). Still, there it is, a familiar iPhone behind all that gear. That, by itself, is impressive.

Your statement is based on the fact that on Flickr more pictures are uploaded from iPhones than any other phone, device, SLR or compact. That DOES NOT make it the most popular phone in the world. Simple maths dictates that an impossibility.. there are more Android phones out there than iPhones, and even that number would be dwarfed by the sheer number of simple point and click cameras that still exist. May I suggest some logic and research before making wild statements based on something you read once..

On the last part. Just a thought: Could it be a correlation the other way round?
Could it be that it is the same socially insecure people that (in the style of "The Emperors new clothes") want to be sure they have the devices according to the current fashion, to feel socially acceptable, that also have this immense urge to post a myriad of videos?
Not saying that this goes for any video-poster or any Iphone-owner, but just that it might not be uncorrelated....

Generalizing "cameras" as iPhones is 1 thing.

so what gsmarena it was still captured with an iPhone they just treated it like a DLSR body with added gimbals and lenses.
No different than any crap android brand also with their "fake" advertising, they too use additional hardware and software to enhance their videos, hell some even straight up lied by not even using the phone and used an outright DLSR.

I have to say, the image is extremely soft in the corners, bokeh looks weird and distracting and low-light performance leaves me thinking "Is it super soft or way out of focus?". Can't say I'm impressed, but that's not just an iPhone thing, I don't think any tiny 1/2.3" (or smaller in most cases) sensor with a tiny crappy lens can make a pleasing video.
