Syel, 24 Jan 2019LOL good question!I know, no ports to use for diagnostics.

They would need to create like a charging mat w/ velcro to stick on the back of the phone that you can charge wirelessly the phone on your hand while gaming.

If turning off the phone, turning off the the wifi/data can be disabled on the locked screen, this phone could prove a nightmare for phone stealer.

But then again, that is a market that is willing to be robbed a thousand bucks for the equivalent of a cheap 3rd party repair.

Well, with QI dock at strategical point at home, work and in the car, never had to use a power bank.

It would really be a shame to put a case on such a phone, but it's just my opinion, cause I never liked, nor understood, the idea of hiding what cost the more on a phone, its design.

Jaeger, 23 Jan 2019People say "the technology isn't mature enough to go fully wireless". I say "how technology wi... moreThe only problem I have is the absence of a USB cable, not the charging aspect but data transfer.
Syncing phones if you upgrade can be done by media sharing, especially Bluetooth and physically moving a memory card, as contacts, diary are essential held in email account, that aspect is already taken care of

Whilst I have an extensive CD collection and MP3 music files ripped from them

Just for management purposes I have 1200 MP3 songs approx 4Gb, sorted into album folders where I have complete albums songs, all other music is saved in the MUSIC folder.

MicroSD out old phone into new phone would be the norm.
Even phones without memory expansion, USB transfer.
Even with a comprehensive phone file manager a PC file manager is superior.

I can accept everything else, the USB port critical, it IMO removes connectivity with other item that can connect via USB.

If you can only charge wireless, therefore you need to have this charger with you.

When battery became sealed in, you replaced carrying a spare battery with a USB Cable so any interaction with the PC you could charge at the same time.
WiFi transfer is an additional drain on batteries

I just say, Xiaomi is well known as copier brand and sell cheaper because spending less on R&D than the brand which is trying to be the 'first". MIX is just Sharp product copy and then make revision. Imaging how much money that Meizu spent to make this "wow" effect and Meizu is much smaller company than other Chinese brands like Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi. Lenovo and ZTE is bigger because have computer and network business.

The point is please appreciate this Meizu's move to offer other product rathen just follow others. Yes not all people like this type of mobile but competition is necessary in the business world to make prices more competitive for us.

This is what I expected from Apple with their little advertisement to fool people into thinking removing the headphone jack was a good idea, you know? "wireless is the future" they said. Yet they were one of the last brands to introduced wireless charging to their phones, like 3 or 4 years after Samsung and many. Now that an Android Manufacter has given the first step Apple can finally go ahead and do the exact same thing so more android manufacters do the same thing cause it's the trend, mah man. Christ, I hate this market.
