ppl commenting on f22 at 10x, fragile lens etc need to have their minds checked, ive owned the galaxy camera, and the sony cybershot compact thing & they get dropped a lot, only had 1 lens failure because its extended when its dropped, but i doubt this is an extending lens, rather a fixed internal moving lens

But anything with 20-85mm would be great. Further off zoom digital would be fine. Mobile is still not so great for handling and the photo results could be very shakey...

This is quite innovative. I would really like 10X optical zoom on the next Pixels along with its Super Res Zoom software algorithms.
The Pixel 3 didn't even have any optical zoom but its Super Res Zoom did a pretty good job for what it had.

Camera zoom race. Ridiculous. When will they stop? Till we can zoom into the moon with our phone? A needless feature. Who will keep zooming at thing with their camera anyway. Use a real dslr camera for that.

This would be mind blowing innovation if it works effectively. No more of the senseless squeezing in 5 or 6 cameras on back needed. Basically a real miniature dsr camera module in a phone finally.

At 10x zoom, the camera is only good for very bright sunny shots, at aperture F22. LOL!

careful not to drop..there is too many zoom glass inside,i guess..

Honestly I dont buy the story current phones have optical zoom.
I still think it is still 2x or 3x digital.
