Huawei already well known when xiaomi start their business. People also only pick xiaomi when they want best price/value. If money not an issue, they will pick other alternatives.

Xiaomi has just recently started to branch outside of China/Asia. They have barely started on the European market, and same can be said for the US market. Huawei have been present for a long, long time and obvoiusly has a larger market share - for now.

They should make the screen scratch resistant first. Just a wipe on any gorilla glass screen and you will see a ton of minor and huge scratches even if you use a microfiber cloth
