I did my researc... moreAnd in europe (croatia) if they (store/distributor) cant fix phone you get new one with warranty period start over again or full money back. It doesn't matter if malfunction appeared in first month or last month of warranty.

I did my research (T&C) and know my general consumer rights, Xiaomi simply isn't delivering. How is that my fault?

... moreIMO if you bought your phone, and didn't consider or even didn't know that there isn't proper service centre in your country, it's your fault.
Here in India, Xiaomi has real good service centres (at least in big cities) and the Poco F1 still costs equivalent of 300$.

People for $300 you all sure have a lot of bad things to say about this phone, considering this, go buy a $1000 phone if you're not satisfied, maybe you'll like it when your wallets hurt more and you get offered the same thing, one way to find out

Xiaomi's so-called "warranty" is just store warranty. Mind you, I have a phone from the official retail channel bought directly from one of Xiaomi's authorized distributors in my country. Xiaomi itself will refuse to do any service outside of just advising to reset the software. I am suck with a faulty phone for weeks, and no-one has even allowed to send it back for repair. A simple warranty fix is now becoming a nightmare, if I knew this I would have never bough a Xiaomi!
