Maybe this is the fate of Gionee as does other company has collapsed. We know, in the selling department Gionee is not as good as other chinese brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi which is so far in past couple of years the two companies have shown a good and solid performance. Whenever there is a quality and competitive price there will be market share. Perhaps Gionee has to be merged with Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo or Vivo to make a giant chinese tech company.

Wow! Sounds like large scale mismanagement and fraud. It seems like the guy was siphoning money from the company and fluttering it away on a bad addiction, ie gambling and when the fun stopped, he couldn't.

It's sad that Google play edition program ended. if Google's real objective of pixel is giving user option of pure Google's android experience, the play edition is more cost efficient. I am sure they don't get enough profit from those few pixel sales.
Many users are willing to pay some amount to get Samsung guaranteed aosp software in Samsung s9.
