Pretty much useless with those specs, for that price buy proper laptop, you can almost get gaming laptop, wondering who is buying this crap.

seeing the specs I am really doubtful, coz I pad pro (older version) will come around 42k with some offers (during which most Indians buy electronics). I am not at all an apple lover but seeing the specs itself I cant understand how are they thinking to beat those apple tabs which will definitely be able to provide a smoother experience.
Moreover I pad 2018 even with all the accessories will be less expensive than the lowest model of Microsoft Go. All I can see beforehand itself is - Microsoft reducing the price of this one to 29,990 and higher variant to 40k.

... moreI wouldn't call F1 or 5z flagships.
They're good phones, but slapping in a high-end SoC doesn't make a phone a flagship. These are phones with compromises made to keep the price down.
Also, afaik, the alloys to make the case are more expensive than the typical glass sandwich, and fitting components inside a laptop is much easier, so less budget is spent on design teams.
Last but not least, windows, and iOS and Mac for the matter, is a long lasting platform with long update life, my 6 yo laptop is still getting updates and after the free win 10 upgrade it has been running perfectly smooth.
So yeah, it's really hard to compare.

I write this on my Surface Go 4Gb RAM. It is 80% mini laptop and 20% tablet
As a mini laptop I use it for mails, Office, word and excel and PDF ON THE GO
It is a GREAT MINI LAPTOP ON. THE. GO
In train, taxi, plane, coffee shops etc etc

Yes, the tablet isn't worth the price. But you don't buy a Surface for the price to performance ratio. You buy it for the premium design, the amazing touch and for the surface brand. Yes this device doesn't make any sense, but it's not bcz its a overpriced device, but rather bcz its a "cheap" Surface device.. It doesn't make any sense the same way the iPhone 5C didn't make any sense.

$530 and $698 is not "budget nature". In particular not in India.

Nah. This is very good device! I have tryed this in last week and it is very good portable tablet with desent keyboard. Don`t compare it to laptops. They Are completely different products. This is 2in1 very portable workhorse to light usage. The pen is good, the screen is Also very nice.
I could definitely use this as onroad notebook type device.

Kiyasuriin, 17 Dec 201864 should use UFS 2.1 not eMMC storage. -.- even phones that price use UFS 2.1But this is Microsoft. With microscopic value.
