AnonD-731363, 17 Dec 2018Man jack is useless gimmick known as very old ancient technology first released back in 1864 ... moreblah blah blah, talks the men who knows nothing about quality, and for sure dont listen HQ music or dont know what that is.

listen, if you dont care about using bluetooth headphones is with you, i dont care too BUT for full experience with AAC or FLAC high quality music bluetooth headphones dont give you the quality i need or i listen trough wired ones, is not even close.

but for an abomination like you i dont care, you still think wireless is the future, but right now is not...i still prefere using wired phones and no need to worry about run out battery to be an abomination like you and when my headphones battery die i carry a extra weight (cause i am sure you even dont carry the 3.5 to 3.5 with you since you say what you say in your comment) so...sh**t your mouth up. mo ro n

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2018Regardless of what you said, Pocophone is still almost half half the price of OnePlus for the ... moreI was specifically referring to the addition or more LTE bands that would have cost Xiaomi $0.00. Not the making of the entire phone.

The OnePlus 6T is a glass sandwich with a Samsung made AMOLED panel that supports a super fast proprietary charging system. Those three items are a significant expense compared to easily molded plastic and notch and chin LCDs.

In fact, all Xiaomi had to do for Pocophone was recycle the Mi 8's internals and replace everything else with less expensive if lesser quality components. They've spent SIGNIFICANTLY LESS on design and R&D than OnePlus in that respect and they're able to bring costs WAY down as a result.

At least to OnePlus' credit, they don't make money by selling space in SYSTEM APPS to TikTok and Southeast Asian Amazon (Xiaomi got caught red-handed and pulled back the ads in system apps).

I rest my case. Have a good day.

Both phones run the same apps. Why should I pay almost double? Waterproofing? OnePlus older phones didn't have waterproofing, and that wasn't a big deal for people. Now it is? Give me a break.

If it cost Xiaomi $0, then why OnePlus increased their prices so much? The original OnePlus One has flagship chipset and all the good stuff for just $350. They could do it back then, but now they like to milk their fanboys.

NickTheDude, 18 Dec 2018Really let's see . OnePlus is overrated phone.Yup. People fail to see that OnePlus actually keep increasing their prices every year. Sooner or later, it will be in the $800-$900 ballpark, no different than Samsung.

            LOL, never settle?

OnePlus One, flagship chipset, 64GB, $350. That was true flagship killer that never settle.
Now, looks like they have settled to the same overpriced notched phone without no headphone jack copies at $600.

The "never settle" title should go to Xiaomi for the $300 Pocophone F1. OnePlus, you're a has been, just an overpriced Chinese phone.

Domestoboto, 18 Dec 2018The McLaren 6t costs €699. In many US retailers, you can get a Galaxy S9 for about $500.Man but S9 is not brand new. S10 is about to fall.
When S9 was brand new it costed 1000+ so what do you want to say???
After almost a year MC Laren Edition will cost maybe 400-500.
                  Your comment makes non sense.

It was only 1 year of success.
4 years of forgetting the first one.
They have undone everything that made the initial OnePlus community.
                                        They said,
Invite system= less marketing expense= cheaper phone
                                        Now,
Celebrity endorsements, crazy marketing and so, costlier phones every year.
During the OnePlus One, smartphones did not have the tech it has, now, I'd go for an older version of Samsung flagship at the same price any day, or a POCO phone.
