Funny all those Indians complaining on the internet and the Motorola forum about Motorola not releasing Oreo to its Moto G5 series phones fast enough and praising Xiaomi for fast updates. Even mocking Motorola for releasing Oreo and not Pie, although Pie has just been released in Aug 2018. Motorola has already started to distribute Oreo to the Moto G5 series. Looks like Xiaomi isn't faster than Motorola and they are also not giving Pie.

Martin, 25 Oct 2018My redmi 5 plus with Oreo in Octomber. The China version is still on 7.1 as well as the Russian one. They just released 2 days ago MIUI 10 Stable for it.

Is that typo error? Pie is already out & most of the users are looking forward to update for it & Xiaomi is now updating their handsets to Oreo. Really! LOL! Good luck Xiaomi users!
