2-Android is much more competitive since Android 7, and why would it not be; there is barely any competition remaining.
3-speaking of competition, what happened to all those softwares better than android? BBos, Sailfish, Meego and dare I say it SYMBIAN?
All gone. Nothing will survive. Everything good will die and crapdroid, an insult to OSS will remain.
So HMD/Nokia have no other option but to sell Crapdroid phones.
4-I tried to use my E6, N808 and Lumias for as long as I could. E6 is still the primary phone, with emphasis on phone. BB Priv and Sony have served as smart devices running apps not available on E6.
A month ago I ditched everything but the E6, and got a Nokia 8 for around 350 usd.
You should try it too. Camera is decent, speakers are loud and speed is good. Snd 845 is not necessary and I love the design and installed MS launcher to get rid of the boring UI.
5-If you care even a bit about having a proper OS, buy either a Nokia or Xperia running Sailfish.
Yeah I know HMD has this pure android crap in it but right now they have no other option. They are still a small company and it would be impossible to use any other OS and not go bankrupt.
Maybe 5 years down the line they'll be the 4rth biggest player and might give Sailfish another shot?

Where's Meizu 16th when months ago seen at 2nd position?
Owh I see. It doesn't reach 1000x run from the user as the note said below the article. As we've known that Meizu 16th has liquid cooling for making sure the chipset run as the maximum capability (not slow down when it reachs hot temperature).

Of course, the Mate 20 series and the XS series from Huawei and Apple literally cream these guys in performance, and these phones are still considered fast, so anything with an 845 doesn't have to be fast on a benchmarks, especially Sony with their skin

Nokia name and Spydroid, not for me, thank You. As long as they don't revive Symbian or at least MeeGo, they are another chinese upstart for me, just milking nostalgy and mighty Nokia name. About iOS, never ever tried, so i don't have slightest idea how good or bad it is. I just don't like Apple snobism, so i won't buy their products. (Btw, You can see all my phones i have had from my profile. In buying order starting from bottom.) Essential, i think it's hard to re-sell. F1 is still hot enough to get most money back, i think. After testing Oreo, i will happily live (until new OS arrives that is NOT from Google) with my Nokia 808 and Lumia 950Xl (and Nokia N82) i have right now. (Possibly adding Nokia N9 soon.)

Hell, you could even use Essential. If you’re an Apple intellectual, you should start from easy mode and then make your way up. As for the term Spydroid, why do you call it that?

But as i remember, back then even flagships running Spydroid lagged like crazy, so i won't buy middle tier phone. Paying 800 euros for few days testing seems to be overkill, so i am going for cheapest flagship-grade phone available. :)
(Actually, Sony should build their own OS. Make it Android apps compatible, if needed but without all the NWO Google brings. Then i wouldn't hesitate to pay even 1k euros, if needed.)

Even if the scores are logarithmic, the fact that the malis gpu scores around the same as last year iphone X is something that i cant understand. We all know those are kinda crappy, specially on the kirins.

4 Xiaomi phones in top 10. Impressive. Considering buying F1, as i want to see, how bad Spydroid nowadays is (of course going to sell it after few days). Last version i tried was 4.1.2 and that literally made me puke. Awful, compared to Belle and MeeGo.
