Sky, 17 Oct 2018Can you name a few with examples please? :)Phone industry. Samsung is top seller but phone last only as long as your warranty.
I run amobile shop and most phones dies after 2 years or if they dont they are so slow that most refuses using them.
Simmilar to Apple Samsung is also known for slowing their phones via software updates to force customer to buy new ones.
Another Example uis TV Segment. LG or Phillips offers best LCD, HD, QHD, LED, OLED Panels for affordable prices. In case of Samsung they cost lot more for much less in quality.
Samsung is making almost everything their sticker can be found anywhere even a stupid toothbrush have a samsung sticker and can last only as long as a warranty.

This is going to be interesting. Sony has been investing resources in to this market.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2018I assume they are doing this , to put more money into exynos chips with more return , therefor... moreDifferent departments of Samsung work separately. Exynos chips are in the semiconductors department while Smartphones are in the mobiles one. They don't have to think about each others profit or loss.

Samsung think it is better to go out of mobile. Because poco, vivo, oppo, oneplus are heavy spoiler it's profit.

I assume they are doing this , to put more money into exynos chips with more return , therefore it should make the exynos chips cheaper and better than its competitors. Which will help with phone costs and more
