I don't think it will be success. Can't do navigation (difficult), web browser, texting etc.. wearable will be very limited
Whackcar, 31 Aug 2018Innovation should always be applauded. Doesn't matter which company it comes from, as long as ... moreWell, in my opinion, wearables can replace smartphones. And I think they are the next thing that comes after smartphones. And when you have a wearable, you won't have to come looking for your smartphone if it gets lost.
Only renderings, no footage, the product is unlikely to exist outside of lab rigs with a similar display. Dont expect this to be much like the final product then, looks like a typical investor-bait. I bet the video is accompanied by a lot of powerpoint slides, guys in suits and ties love meaningless powerpoint slides with bullet points but they have no love for real products.
Well scamsung foldable phone will have a real rival.
Trust me. It will be very difficult to solve the issue in controlling by touching. The touch point will change when the outline of the screen change.
Chris, 31 Aug 2018Nubia isn't owned by ZTE anymore for a long time. You are correct, currently ZTE only owns 40+ % of Nubia, while the rest is owned by Suning Corp and JD corp. It irks me that all phone sites still say " ZTE Nubia". It is just NUBIA now. NO ZTE.

Great to see such a heavily fined company still innovating! Good job!
All this idea and design stolen from old Nokia concept videos of wrist and foldable/flexible smartphones.
Besides, not interested in fail companies with unknown names on the market, which make low cost devices (aka android devices)

Crazy idea. I don't own a smartphone for the simple reason that I can't be bothered squinting at such a small screen when I have a smartphone with a large screen.
