4K wouldn't really matter on a screen that small. Downgrading to a lower resolution, which is still quite good, and getting a better screen and oled makes the phone so much better. Plus it doesn't have that weird curve on the back so it looks so much better

its not the best of sony tho..no 4k and dual camera but the design definitely better

looks like an interesting upgrade from the XZ2. the front panel has been changed (looks quite similar to S8), a move towards AI, res changed to QHD+ (if ive heard properly?), and shift to OLED. hopefully it is priced right (unlikely tho. so far sony always been pretty damn expensive at launch).

I only say that because I am not so sure those product names would impress any younger buyers, a lot of new buyers don't know those names. But like i said, your idea is interesting, it just might be late, then again maybe not.

I think Sony can just restore Cybershot and Walkman series again fitting their best internals justifying their model names. As they are releasing two flagships a year, why not it be one cybershot and walkman? Anyhow their present model lineup isn't bringing Sony Mobile away from the hole they have dug themselves in.
