What I mean is that the screen of S9 is AM-OLED but is also a P-OLED. It has active matrix oled and plastic substrate.
The screen of V30 is AM-OLED while being P-OLED too.
Both use pentile matrix. The difference is quality, also Samsung is based on red oled while LG uses blue oled.
The way tech sites say made ppl confused and believe both are different types of OLED.
Samsung has evolved it since S6, while LG barely improved from G Flex 2.
The Sony flagship of IFA is told to be two versions. One with LCD (H8416, 6GB/64GB) and one with oled ( H9436/6GB , H9493/8GB), design very similar to S6 Edge+ , screen might be a RGBW oled from LG.

When the whole world knows the truth, a few of people are trying to hide the truth using their keyboards. Even if they don't compare, Some do.Take GSMArena for example. We all know rest of the truth abt quality displays.
Secondarily i was talking abt OLEDs and iPhone X's colour accuracy is pretty much good i believe.
And please don't mention these losers here ("We don't do that here"). They don't deserve to be compared (I'd go for huawei rather than LG or Sony) infact it's pretty much perceptional.
They are fated same as HTC (I'm sad abt it. I Loved HTC phones, specifically in HTC Sense and sound domain).

I don't think it's a charity and it's definitely not an end consumer oriented service. They help manufacturers get the best calibration out of products. So, if you want them to make an extensive test of Phone X, I guess you'll have to convince manufacturer X to use Display Mate.

I think it's about darn time DisplayMate improves the diversity of the phones they test out.

Paid by Samsung, sure thing. The best display does not kill your battery within 12 hours. And my 4k tv has better screen, because it is built for high resolution and big picture.
