The real test would be longevity and throttling between this exynos variant and the s9 plus snapdragon and exynos to see how the heat pipe helps.
FinestBezels, 11 Aug 2018This is the year of Huawei. If that year ever comes, it would be a terrible year for phones.
"Samsung's Water Carbon Cooling should make for better performance under extended periods of gaming or intensive use."
Tomsguide already tested it with the Note9 vs the Note8 and iPhone X and it made no difference.
I just don't understand how is there no difference when the 9's cooling solution takes up a larger area than the 8's...Not to mention the copper pipe is 3X bigger...
[deleted post]Very good comment. Thank you very much. Just waiting for Mate 20 Pro to whip floor with Note9.

These really are negligible differences in real world use. Manufacturers would like users to believe you need to upgrade your phone every year because processor power keeps on improving as evidenced by ever increasing benchmark scores. But really, most users don't need to because they only use their phones for Facebook, Youtube, web browsing, movie/music listening and some non processor intensive gaming craze - mobile legends, clash of clans, candy crush, pvz, wordscapes, etc. I pity the hapless users who spend so much money buying the most powerful phone when all he/she does is Facebook and Youtube. It's like buying a race car and using it 99.9% of the time in busy, congested city traffic. Sure there's satisfaction from bragging rights but why not buy jewelry instead, rather than needlessly upgrading to a new overpriced flagship phone every year with superfluous RAM and underutilized superfast processor? Not much has changed significantly anymore in terms of smartphone development that have meaningful benefits to the user experience.
Could it be affected by the bigger screen?
Could not say heating issues for obvious reasons (That huge copper tube )
