For smartphones, nah. They're just gimmicks right now. Maybe if they can implement a better system with adjustable aperture like f1.5 to f4.0 and higher with adjustment of increments of f.5 it might be useful. And most of the reviews I've seen say not much difference between the f1.5 and 2.4 in terms of photo quality.

vivo nex > iphone x ? seriously? price is the only problem with iphone X. but with Nex? no nfc, no IP ratings, low quality camera, low benchmark rating. The only innovative in vivo NEX is the pop up camera that's all. every phone has this high screen to body ratio so that is not new already.
Really? Iphone x vs a coming soon phone???? You should put only available phones to compete!
Walter C. Dornez, 24 Jun 2018Arigato gozaimasu! That cleared up things for me Hehe! Mondainai Walter san! ^^
Daany, 24 Jun 2018Indians love Iphones more than their parents(FACT).
I lived in punjab for 6 years. That's because their parents don't have a notch.
I vote iPhone X > Vivo nexS.
Why?
It's clear to me one is a "weird" phone, whilst the other is just imitating so won't the real Slim Shady please stand up please stand up.
Humm.. Maybe, maybe I'd try the LG. U can keep the rest. Not interested.

Everyone chasing the bigger one.Its awesome thing for photographers. But also monochrome sensor on p20pro shows how lower true color resolution(using bayer filter) affect final output, creating deformations, loosing detail. Maybe next thing will be separation of sensors for each color - for higher amount of detail while having large pixels, not like p20pro, fake colors with AI. Not that they are not beautiful, but not so true to life.
