Long version:
I'm not here to pick a fight with sony fans, I've owned and seen a few of their devices. It's a matter of what I pay vs what I get. I don't hate sony in general, I've owned k750, k800, k850, and then Xperia S, then both C and M, with Es and Ls distributed in the family.
Sony's lines aside from the Z line are below average, and their entry-levels and midrangers have some of the worst support life ever.
Glass back design is actually a bad thing (hint: it breaks when it falls, and that happens a lot)
I don't take my phone to the beach, nor do I shoot aquatic life with phones. Plus, I don't use it in the toilet, so there you go.

Camera sensors are fine but somehow, on their devices, their sensors behave funny, have you ever used any of the M, C, L, or E line, where Exmor means you have to X (delete) more photos than you keep? And it took them years to fix the panorama issue.
AI camera scene recognition has been on cameras since forever, it was a matter of time a company would implement it. And have you read the reviews about their super slow motion?
Hi-Res audio is available from other brands, and some offer even better xperiance (pun intended). And as far as I remember, LG was the first to support 24 bit 192k audio.
Front facing stereo speakers were on other devices before sony, and it was there since 2004 or 5 if I remember correctly, it was LG and some other Japanese company (hint: not sony)
AR effects are for children, and was not supported on most midrangers at first even though their performance allowed it.
I'm not sure if Sony were the first to implement EIS to be honest, but OIS was there on phones before Sony as well.

Again: not picking a fight, but a feature you find great is not so great in another's opinion. And by claiming Sony made everything, you just sounded like die-hard apple fans.

They do this, not knowing the fact that some of their phones' features are actually from Sony. Glass back design, water resistance, camera sensors, AI camera scene recognition, super slow motion, HDR screen, Hi-Res audio, front facing stereo speakers, AR effects, EIS, etc.
