Anonymous, 29 May 2018Any reasons why??? I did write the reason. Google is as unethical with their handling of social media as Facebook. Probably worse as they're not showing any actual effort to clean anything up. Fake users holding multiple accounts are free to trigger any sort of toxic reaction to anything. Considering Google has access to the most detailed topology map of the Internet, thanks to their WiFi sniffing Street View cars, they really should be able to do an infinitely better job than Facebook to prevent that behaviour. But, just like Facebook, they're choosing profits over sensibility.

Shanti Dope, 29 May 2018Because again, they want it to work greatly on every single smartphone in their first release.... moreif i know Google, if this even arent in Pixel phones, someday will be another dead project, because Pixel is the first thing Google need to worry, priority list i think!

Google have too many failures with this kind of projects because any other company can do better than them.

Wonder if this survive until next year or if some other comapny will do better and shot google's in the foot.

Besides, don't you wonder why Google's own phones don't even have this available for them yet??
Of course, because the feature itself isn't perfectly working still, and needs more improvements to a stable and usable level.

so, i am not worry about my device...but wonder why google is so complicated with this. Sony devices have this kind of AR since 2013 with SD800 (Z Ultra) and use them since then, so why cant google make it to all SD800 since Sony can do it why google cant?!

It's just available only for Xiaomi's current best phone because it's still a fresh software.
Give Google enough time to make it compatible with your device as well. Unless you want to get it now but not work properly.
