A disastrous battery size choice. I do read, a lot, and formed the opinion based on looking at 6inch flagship sized batteries. See any others at 3000mA? Be real, the LG V30 got great reviews for battery, but that had a lower power screen. Can you seriously suggest a 3000mA is anything but a mess. With 3500mA in there, this competes. Be aware that every new year brings more intensive requirements from a processor, the demands rarely decrease.

Anonymous, 11 May 2018 what is a terrible battery for you?? how do you measure the right battery capacity for a smar... moreThis is true, I had a Samsung galaxy s9 for a while, ended up swapping it out but it did a lot better with battery than my s6 edge plus and it was more than likely (despite battery size differences) down to the internals like you mentioned. Battery was much longer lasting and could go for a full day unlike the s6 edge plus, that one was developing issues but still.

Uhm 670 EUR of UK that is not a lot of money, when Lg G7 comes to my country it should be around 750 or 800 EUR. Considering that S9 is 900 EUR, and S9+ is nearly 1000 EUR...
This is cheap.

LG have lost the flagship game in the UK. Don't remember the last time in the last couple years someone has or boasts of having a new LG flagship phone. The only company who has had amazing audio chips in their phones but the cameras have been let down in comparison to Apple Google or Samsung.
Don't think they will ever be top 3 in UK again

LCD/OLED - oh the woes of the westernised middle classes. It's a phenomenal bit of tech, with a range of unique extras that other phones don't have. It's also a brand that does not have the same marketing budget as the big guns to lobby the internet review giants, hence it is being oddly and rather arbitrarily criticised.

Shame it has a terrible battery.... more what is a terrible battery for you?? how do you measure the right battery capacity for a smartphone??? based only in the screen size as others do????...you have to read more.....the SD845 processor consumes 30% less power than SD835 processor and at least 45% less than SD820/SD821 processors...power efficiency is the goal for phone makers...not making big batteries!!!!

Samsung S8 Plus is 10 pounds less and it offers 128 Gb rom and 6 gb ram and the SD 835 performs amazing.
I don't see how Samsung is ripping anyone off

It still translates into 800 USD which is expensive for US market. In EU and UK everything is crazy expensive anyway, so 594 pounds sounds like a good deal.

Nice price from LG, for example LG G6 launched in Europe for around 699 Euros, now G7 launched for around 670 euros.
LV V30 is even more appealing now, priced at around 575 euros
