Of course the upgrade is imminent. What sense would it make for the Valentines Day Raspberry Rose if the upgrades were not *also* available for this just-launched version? What an awful Valentines Day gift that would have been otherwise! That the Oreo upgrade has not yet been released world-wide might be just a sign that LG will ultimately be playing for its established user base -- in a way that it, so far, has been (in)famous for not doing. Unlike OnePlus, thus, which kind of screwed the 5 owners with the announcement of the 5T just a few months later, LG will be making everyone happy if it is to indeed make the AI functions generally available in its Oreo Upgrade. I suspect that might be just what it has in store right now, which would be a really smart move indeed.

US only get one year's warranty on high-value electrical items? Ouch.
UK you get 2 as standard; 6 if you can prove the item was faulty when you came into ownership of it (massively loophole-able).

AnonD-738492, 22 Feb 2018F*** im still waiting v10 nougat update via ota....Security updates are not OS upgrades. I only read the article, but it makes no mention of a commitment to future Android versions, only that the V30 and G6 will get 8.1. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the over 2 year old V10 to get nougat.

But you need to flash it via LG Bridge going into error recovery mode or you can download the v30b kdz from the web and flash it with UPPERCUT.

Men, you are late...i already have nougat since they came out last year and rolling everyday with it, its my daily driver abd runs so smooth.

Let them release the Oreo 8.0 update first to V30 devices worldwide then we will think about an update to 8.1. Shame on you LG.... Being sooooo lazy will not help you to get any more market share or increase profit margin.
