It is only more expensive than OnePlus 5T and Mate 10. But OnePlus 5T's camera can't compete with HTC U11+ no matter what, and camera is one of the most important deciding factor in buying phone for me. Mate 10 only has 4GB ram, I rather spend extra money to get 6GB ram (mate 10 pro, which is the same price as HTC U11+), and many other reasons.

In my opinion, HTC U11+ is the most underrated phone ever. It has one of the most complete package that it can offer including unexpected IP68, good camera, large screen, big battery, near Stock Android, all with low price at 6GB ram/128GB storage. I don't care about missing of headphone jack and screen quality.

In my country here, HTC U11+ is the same price Mate 10 pro, with both 6GB ram. It's consider cheap for a complete flagship. It's cheaper than S8/S8+, XZ premium, Note 8, iPhone 7/7+/8/8+/X, Google Pixel. It is only more expensive than OnePlus 5T and Mate 10.

To those people who say HTC should stop innovating, you are wrong. HTC should continue to innovate new features. The ONLY thing they are missing is their marketing. With proper marketing, they can slowly improve their brand name and their status name [which is the only reason why I don't buy U11+, I care of brand name high status a lot, but I am very sure there are many people (majority) out there who doesn't care of "high status", unlike me :( ]

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2018Well HTC was good at one thing - audio, and that's exactly what they insisted on ditching. So ... moreI think their phones still have great quality audio output for headphone-usage, at least I couldn't care less about tiny built-in speakers which are placed too close to each other to really create a nice stereo effect... But I somehow have a feeling you meant exactly those mini-sized speakers. Yuck.

Well they make brilliant handsets. Ours business one HTC One A9s kick dust and are as fast and zippy and attractive as they were from day 1. The body is slick and is all our daily drivers. Metal too and had no real need to change. Pixel 2 would have been even better if it didn't have that sharp glass edge to back frame. The A9 is beautiful in that regard. I wish HTC well, and that they can move forward. They need marketing as so many people say..
