Easiest way to waste your hard earned money for toy device and make apple rich, I wondering what is the point from all these useless AI speakers, so you could talk to pre-programmed voice??? People need to get a life

If we look at what we know about the product, the speaker tweeter setup and the like, then it might be a little expensive, but not that much. Please link me to where I can buy a speaker with such a setup for, as you say, half the price. So that would be $175 or £160. Sonos do their 'Smart 1' which is an Alexa based speaker, retails for £200, but does not have the number of tweeters or setup that the homepod has. Its £319, I was hoping it might cost near £250 but, we need to wait to see how it sounds before we call it a rip off

Glad to see that apple continue to do what they do best. Sell overpriced stuff that isn't worth the money you pay, when you can get something better for well under half the price. You're basically just paying an extra £200 for the apple logo on the speaker.

I'm actually more curious about the Creative Technology dongle that are able to finally give real surround sound with any headphones. That sounds more like a breakthrough in audio and something special rather than this. But haven't tried it myself so until then lol

For 500 rather get speakers from Bose company than this overpriced thing which works only on apple and its not compatible with anything else.
Thats my honest opinion.
Anyway as the text is saying the product is not finnished yet and its missing a lot of things.
For what purpose they gonna unveil unfinnished product?
But who i am I to care. Apple were always special to me and always got a thumbs down.
