I have been using the European version of Honor 8 Pro and i have not received any update notification yet.....is there any possibility that my model won't receive the update or should i wait until it comes?

Hopefully they update the 6x.Its a very capable handset.Been using it for a year.It got nougat,its under testing for oreo.Hope we get the update

I just bought a Honor 7x and i m curious ... moreAgree 1000%, let them start being clear about software updates policies going foward...that is what treble is all about, phone should be supported for 3 generations otherwise we are wasting money and damaging the environment for no good reason: most phone available now have good enough hardware to run the software!

Still on emui 5.1 with August securit... moreHuawei stated their 2 year update commitment for the devices from 2017 and newer. Honor 6x is quite old and nougat is a good update for the device, considering many new releases are still getting Nougat out of the box only.
