There were everywhere info that Xiaomi has "Game Booster" - but I wasn't able to find that - because when you try to look for "Game Booster" in apps or anywhere - it don't show anything.
Now thanks to screens I found the green icon "Security". It is translated to locale so can be totaly different depending langauge setting - in PL language its name is "Panel Sterowania".

But adding the chang... moreI agree with your statement, but as a manufacturer, it is wise for them to not do it. Remember that not everyone knows what is clock speed. Overclocking it will actually do more harm to the phone. Yes, we can expect the manufacturer to put in a fail safe, but for the price, I don't think they can squeeze the resource to do it.
I would say it is already a very nice addition. But truth to be told, unless you are on Mi Mix 2 and Mi 6, the other chipsets shouldn't be affected too much even if you overclock it.

Instead of cheap tricks, like what Samsung, Oneplus, Asus already does, they should've offered to lower the resolution or something along those lines which actually makes a difference, and thus offloading the GPU.
That, would've been game-changing

It should be tangible with GPU based benchmarking apps otherwise its a placebo, the last time I tried it with S7's game booster app I got similar results to with or without game booster.
