Benefit of buying it local over chinese website is that younhave a 2 year reasonably worryless warrenty, where with the chinese websites, it remains to be seen how things are handled after 18 month of purchase.

Similar to how S8 is/was worse than S7 ... 2017 turns out to be a disastrous year for many companies , Xiaomi included. No wonder Apple could price iPhone X as high as they did, in an off year for the rest they released their biggest jump since the iphone 4...

idk if Netherlands have official Xiaomi support but 599 when in spain official Xiaomi store is selling this for 499...i mean, even imported it cost less than 599.
Is a good phone not the best from Xiaomi...and dont deserve to cost 599, in my opinion is a 399 phone. Not a big deal. compare this to LG V30 and V30 is amost the same price so, is better to go to V30.
