Nothing wrong with Alcatel, not in my experience anyway only little niggle i have is they tend to put small batteries in not sure why, but overall I have used a Idol 4s since launch and its flawless.

Why does Alcatel continue to make these thick sized phones for entry/mid tier phones? Their designs lack innovation..nobody wants same thick unimpressive designs!
