i mean no harm, 22 Aug 2017advance user uses custom rom beside i wouldnot worry (i have done it) its very easy like eng-d... moreI don't think you get my point. Changing rom is great, that's one of the greatest thing about having an Android phone. Hell, i even use custom rom in my phone. To draw out its potential, yes. But is that what a regular customer should do?
Basically, we as the customers should receive a finished product where we can immediately use after buying it. Switching rom is what advanced users do. Besides changing rom is also require root, and i believe rooting voided the warranty of the phone.
AnonD-504554, 21 Aug 2017Because why won't we just buy and use? Why should we hassle ourself to flash a rom? Duh.advance user uses custom rom beside i wouldnot worry (i have done it) its very easy like eng-dubbed Chinese vids

Google suddenly you!!!
Pixel for flagship
Nexus for midrange
Android One for entry level
Of course not the hardware but the price!!
Nice, but Xiaomi selling MIUI service too so is will be impossible to be true on their flagship phone.
Give me a Xiaomi Nexus (like the real Nexus of old, flagship specs at mid-range prices) and I'll be a very happy buyers. I'm sure this Android One will also be great, but I really wanted that wannabe "flagship killer" (that now costs the same as a S8 in many regions) from the media-hype company to see what's the real deal.
This is a great news!!! I have not jumped on the Xiaomi bandwagon so far, due to heavily skinned MIUI. I will most likely get a Xiaomi phone, if it is available with stock Android in India.
Before anyone pointing out, yes yes our currency suck.
Anyway, stock Android, xiaomi hardware, I might consider it IF priced right.
This will be the first ever stock Android from Xiaomi! I'm kinda surprised by this news..
eagerly waiting for xiaomi mobile with stock android. release it in India
Good news...
bring back Nexus *cries in corner*
Xiaomi should be involved with Android One long-term; their goals seem to be compatible anyway.
more Android one phones please. mid-range and flagship. Google's Pixels are ridiculous in cost. I'd buy iPhone for the price.
Wishing it to india
This is great news.
Good hardware specifications with affordable price and stock Android with latest update from Google would be a great phone
Why won't I buy a Xiaomi device and flash custom rom on it?
