AnonD-599001, 09 May 2017... You could get the Moto G5 Plus for better specs and lower price. What is Asus thinking? Better specs and lower price won't do you much good when it's not the real Motorola that used to exist that supports it. Why do you think they are selling their stuff so cheap?
It's Lenovo.
They don't know nothing about upgrades and phone software. They have been steadily going downhill since they bought Motorola.
Buy one and see what you think
Moto g5 has a lower price but also :
Asus and Lenovo cant match
Build quality of asus is far better than plastic moto
Dual camera is big advantage over g5
Design depends on your taste but for me asus wins by far also
Battery at least on paper again on asus side with non power hungry chipset
so that few advantages lead me to buy an asus over moto :) i also wish that asus is priced about 250$ but then asus cant make profit right? so im ok with that (ofc it depends on personal needs and opinions)
and for end of my opinion one thing i dont like about moto :D cops in my country use Motorola radios and i dont like cops at all i mean who likes ? :D its just funny fact not hate :D
Eric Wang, 10 May 2017- Same processor - The G5 Plus is thicker but has a much smaller battery (7.99mm vs 9.7mm) -... morethat is if you're looking for a budget phone, you know the reason why the have dual camera at the back and got a big pack of battery?
zodiacfml, 09 May 2017Metal Build - check
AMOLED display - check
f1.7 and quite large camera sensor - check
14nm... morelol, you can't even get 5000mAh battery with that pricetag

tonez210, 10 May 2017Asus is like htc now. Like to charge price higher than normal At least Asus is charging $329 and not $749.
Why are most mobile phone companies not making phones that are all round adorable to buys....high end spec, water resistant, shatter proof glass"... and not some fragile awesome looking phone that might run crazy when it accidentally falls into water or an accidental drop......a company that comes up with a shatter proof glass like Moto did, then water resistant, good hardware....thats it. boom
but some normal copy of an older phone or just minor change in spec with some camera will get people like"well ok"... thats it?
It´s basically a zenfone 3 with improved camera specs and metal case...Is it any worth? Asus should have improoved the overall specs to make it more atractive than it is. For most of us the 16mp camera of the zenfone 3 is more than enough.
DOA....// RiP Asus!!!!
AnonD-599001, 09 May 2017... You could get the Moto G5 Plus for better specs and lower price. What is Asus thinking? - Same processor
- The G5 Plus is thicker but has a much smaller battery (7.99mm vs 9.7mm)
- G5 Plus has a smaller screen but is only slightly smaller
- Zenfone 3 Zoom has Gorilla Glass 5 while the G5 Plus still has Gorilla Glass 3
- G5 Plus doesn't have OIS or RAW despite having the same sensor
- Zenfone 3 Zoom has 2.3x optical zoom
- G5 Plus only has a 5MP selfie camera vs a 13MP selfie camera
- 3000 mAh battery in the G5 Plus vs 5000 mAh
- The G5 Plus doesn't have dual SIM
- G5 Plus is still using micro-USB while the Zenfone 3 Zoom is using USB-C
For $100 less the G5 Plus is probably more budget friendly but the Zenfone 3 Zoom is the better phone
It's already in stock in Amazon and Newegg
Only 3gb of ram? Are you sure gsma?
I'm waiting for GSMArena review!!!

Negative:
Quite pricey for a Snapdragon 625 phone. I am willing for 50%- 70% higher cost of a Redmi Note 4
interesting phone, but too late...pre-orders for a Snapdragon 625 phone when 630 was released? good joke...

I will choose Asus, if mainly for take photo purpose since snapshot consume battery.
This phone looks really promising. Please do review it fully.
