Okay it's a good news that we already know that the U will include the Bluetooth 5.0, Snapdragon 835 SoC, 5.5” QHD display & Android 7.1 Nougat. But if HTC wants to stay in the limelight and so compete with the top dogs (S8, G6, XZ Premium, P10/Plus, etc), it will be better for them to include as much as possible the latest and greatest specs of 2017, otherwise it will be just another U Ultra.

The only lack in U was "it has not Bluetooth v5.0" but it seems that solved my problem

The second phone isn't quite right, since the Mi 6 is announced and coming out earlier and has got Bluetooth 5.0. And nothing too special either with all Snapdragon 835 phones getting it.
