Windows 10 Mobile is a beast. I would definitely recommend it. Anyone saying there is an app gap is full of crap. It goes both ways. I don't know how anyone could use an android phone with how ugly the OS is, or IOS with how bland it is.

Windows are still seeding updates to the W10 devices I have a Lumia 650 for work and had an update a week ago regular updates do come, my 650 went from a poor device battery wise to a little pocket rocket.

According to Microsoft Snapdragon 835 is bare minimum for x86-64 emulation. But hopefully the 820 will work too as they're doing all the testing on it.

Not worth it even if they gave it away. So many cheap android phones(and even older iphones) out there that it makes no sense torturing yourself with a windows phone.
