The XZs would be more interesting if it had UFS storage instead of eMMC.
Also the design is a bit iffy. Not the general design language or bezels, but the asymmetrical speakers and the metal back with plastic sides - either go full metal or full plastic! Incorporating Samsung-esque plastic that's painted to look metal is tacky.

If Sony follows the same path, they'll no longer be different from the vast majority, hence can't tell that their phones are Sony Xperia phones and not like anybody else. Xperia ZL bezel size is perfect, G2 is also good, just as good

Sony is missing some models. 5.5" - 5.7" QHD phone with a top notch chipset. I am fine with upcoming UHD display, but still want 5.7" in size.

To correct GSMArena: XZs is not a flagship, it's just an high-end phone...like U Ultra, G6...in 2017 flagships have Snapdragon 835, Exynos 8895, Kirin 960.

XZs was meant to be a camera phone and then it had one of the worst camera in 2017, XZ Premium I am sure will be same. Somehow Sony will manage to match camera of Galaxy S7 or something from last year, and as Sony fanboys have never seen what a good camera is they will be over the moon for that.
That's how Sony has been doing for past five years or so. Terrible phones, Xperia lineup, especially for cameras. I still have the soft spot for Sony being an SE user from early days, and I waste time reading reviews of each and every flagship Xperia and in the end thinking same, LOL its just another stupid phone, which excels in basically nothing except the SONY logo at the back.
Good luck Sony. Your loyalists are keeping you from being bankrupt and obviously your insane financials at first place, but with other OEMs being significantly ahead of you lets see how long you can stay afloat.

AnonD-510098, 16 Apr 2017No one wants a phone with big bezelsThat is if everyone has the "tech sense" where they get to understand every aspect of the device, but no, most general consumers want a phone for it's brand, price, design, and pr talk. For example, I joined a friend of mine to buy a phone, the sales rep said it was made of metal, but I told my friend it was plastic, but the PR insists on metal. After all, it did not have any antenna bands. So, my friend believed in the PR talk and bought that phone for $150. (SD 425, 8MP camera, we could have bought a Redmi Note 3)

Poor poor sony.. its already time for sony to come back to their sense, and stop this xperia project already, they should focus more on other products, which are also declining in profits
